Christie joins Future from her previous role as a sport specialist with the Department of the Defense. From there, she transitioned into working as a strength and conditioning coach for the tactical community, helping soldiers improve their physical performance. Prior to working with the military community, Christie was a personal trainer and a head women’s lacrosse coach at the college level. Through her comprehensive coaching experience, Christie has worked with clients of all ages, ability levels, mobility levels, and walks of life.
Starting her fitness journey playing lacrosse in the 7th grade, Christie continued to play through college. She began her college career by playing men’s club lacrosse. At the end of her freshman year, she started a women’s club lacrosse program. Her leadership prompted her college to make the two programs official with varsity status. She competed in NCAA lacrosse her sophomore and senior years and was awarded for her contributions to her college, on and off the field.
Christie works to inspire others to discover joy, acceptance, and fulfillment through their health and fitness journeys. She believes that establishing a positive connection with her clients is just as important as training them in activity and nutrition. To help her clients achieve their personal goals, she tailors programs to their needs and abilities, providing them with the knowledge and partnership to confidently move forward.
